The trail was very hot and sweaty this afternoon. In the lower part of the trail we have seen a lot of lizards, which were probably hunting for the insects buzzing in the air. These are common in our area Western Fence Lizards. I usually see them stretched flat on the ground, but today their heads were raised high above the ground.
